The 2D representational figure was created for Dr. Stephen Li and Dr. Alberto Martin as part of a review paper published in Trends in Molecular Medicine. The goal was to represent current research ​on mouse models for colon cancer.
​
The highly rendered version was initially created in Adobe Illustrator, and later refined in Adobe Photoshop. The construction of this render was a valuable exercise in colour, depth, and the creation of immersive organic environments.
